Cook With School Herbs For School Potluck at Roots + Community

Need Herbs For Your Potluck Dish?

All cooks are encouraged to use the herbs from the Inclusions School Garden on 1st Street and Denton Place. Our own students, who have grown and cared for the herbs and plants, would be honored to have the bounty incorporated into the potluck! Community members are welcome to harvest basil, dill, eggplant, green tomatoes, ground cherries, lavender, lemongrass, lemon balm, lemon verbena, oregano, peppermint, sage, sorrel, spearmint, sweet peppers or sunflower seeds for potluck contributions.

Lots of lemon verbena and lime balm!

Please note that the school garden is scheduled to be winterized and closed down for the season on the morning of Saturday, November 5th, just before the R+C event. Pick herbs before 11am on the day of R+C. Thanks.
