Our inaugural Student Council Event in December was a Winter Festival Door Decorating Contest. All classes were invited to participate in this optional activity. The classes came together to come up with some elaborate ideas! We had “Elves on Shelves”, gingerbread houses galore, and winter landscapes with icy colors.

On the morning of the Winter Festival our judges, Ms. Anette, Ms. Nancy and Ms. Adele went around and judged all of the doors using a rubric. This was no easy task, but in the end our Pre-K-to-2nd Grade winner was K-2, and our 3-5 winner was 3-3.

Both classes won a pizza party and the bragging rights to say that they won the First Annual Winter Festival Door Decorating Contest!
