Lemonicious Additions to the Herb Garden

When I stopped in to Red Hook Garden Center to buy some lemon balm and parsley, I was overwhelmed by the generosity of the owner. He gladly donated some herbs and tips after I mentioned the lemon balm was for a school sensory garden. I left with

• Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)
• Lemon Verbena (Aloysia triphylla)
• Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus)

and planted the citrusy collection in a yellow trug, placed near the lavender. Take a whiff!
