Our 2018 Spring Gala & Silent Auction will be held Friday, April 27th!
The Gala & Silent Auction is our school’s largest fundraising event. This fun evening generates one third of the P.T.A.’s total annual budget, which directly benefits our classrooms. The P.T.A. has provided money to purchase iPads and computers, as well as new sports and occupational therapy equipment; enhance the art and music programs; establish a chess curriculum; and support teachers’ participation in professional development programs. The P.T.A. also raises money to award grants to classroom teachers and specialists for classroom materials.
How can I help solicit donations?
Everyone in our school community can find the wide range of donations we need to make our 2018 Spring Gala & Silent Auction a success. The kinds of items that generate bids are: gift certificates for businesses such as restaurants, retail stores, gyms, spas and hair/beauty salons; event tickets; annual memberships; camps; classes and activities for kids and for adults; hotel stays; and “experiences,” like cooking lessons or tours.
Donations to the Auction are tax deductible for the businesses who contribute. It’s easy to give, and it’s also good advertising for participating donors.
How do I get a donation?
Donations may be submitted online using the link below, or by using our donation form! We’ll have a basket of extra donation forms available in the PTA office. Potential donors should complete this form on paper or online in order to receive their tax deduction information.
What do I do next?
When you get a donation for the Auction, please send the auction committee an email with details so we can keep track. The auction committee is here to answer your questions, so send those to email@example.com.
