IMG_4211A few highlights from the garden today…Does the corn look like its in trouble? I increased the irrigation duration from 15 minutes to 18 minutes.

I spotted a painted lady butterfly as well as this tiny black moth or butterfly, plus a beetle-type bug on the squash leaves and preK1’s impressive beanstalk!

Finally, Sarah Collins wrote to say that she thought out “Guess My Weight” squash was really a pumpkin. I the farmer at my local market says there are round, green summer squash that are good for stuffing…So maybe NOT a pumpkin? Compare the two and share thoughts…I don’t know if anyone ate it. This article suggests that there are many round green zucchini and squash.  –Denise
