It takes a village to make school events run smoothly and safely. Our first Movie Night of the year on Friday was made possible by an incredible team of families, staff and volunteers.

* Thanks to @jetspizza for their generous donation and to families who dropped off concessions and baked goods to sell.

* Thanks to our parent volunteers, both experienced stage hands and first timers. The concession stand setter-uppers and sales experts kept everyone fed and cozy and comfortable on chairs and mats. And extra round of applause to movie night committee chair Marissa for keeping everything on track.

* A big thank you to School Security Agent Crandell, our custodial team and Mr. Doug for technical support.

* And the man behind the curtain of so many of our evening and weekend events, My. Unyque, who does a bit of everything.

* Finally thanks to all the families who pitched in to leave the yard in as good shape as we found it.  These community events work best when everyone cooperates to ensure a good time for all.

Our movie night committee co-chairs both have 5th graders. We’ll need some parents to step up to help run the show(s) next year if we want Movie Nights to continue. The nominees are……. ?
