Garden Committee Meeting: Friday, 2.28, 8:30am in the Cafeteria
We’re meeting this Friday, February 28th, at 830am in the cafeteria. We’ll aim to finalize bed design, garden layout and a water catchment plan so we can firm up order for pre-fab beds and get them in time to assemble the morning of Sat March 29th. If we get the beds built before April, we should be on track to have preK, K and 1st grades plant and harvest this spring/early summer before school year ends. Teachers have worked it into the curriculum for preK, K and 1st as well as several other grades in science.
