Apply to PS 372, The Children’s School! (En Español)
Did you know that Community School District 15 residents can attend schools of choice like The Children’s School? Our school, PS 372, is not a zoned school. It’s a District 15 school, which means all children who live in the district are eligible to apply.
Parents do not need to register or sign up. Open Houses include a tour of the school. We encourage parents to come to the Open House before they apply to The Children’s School/ P.S. 372.
About Our School
The Children’s School is a free, public elementary school that offers a nurturing educational environment to meet the diverse needs of District 15 students.
What we offer:
- Innovative team teaching
- At least 3 educators in every classroom. (Two teachers and one Educational Assistant)
- Maximum Class Size for K-5 is 25

Students who qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch or are English Language Learners have a strong advantage in the admissions lottery for kindergarten.
Applying to Kindergarten
All applicants for kindergarten must apply with one of the following:

Children are admitted to The Children’s School/ P.S. 372 by lottery. Families are asked to fill out a one-page application.
