The entire school, including students from both our ICT and ASD sites, piled on to busses and headed to Prospect Park’s Parade Grounds for Field Day. One section of a giant field was reserved for pre-K through second grade, and another was for grades 3-5.

Organized by Mr. C and Christine, the day featured relay races, a picnic lunch, and plenty of outdoor activities. Many parents joined the group to cheer the kids on, take pictures, and contribute snacks and dessert.

It was a great day of celebration, bonding, and exercise. Each child received a “Field Day 2018” t-shirt (thanks to the PTA) with a new cheetah mascot design created by a fourth grader.

At the end of the day, each grade recites a chant.
