Our Totally 80’s Prom on April 27th was a Total Success! Parents, teachers, and staff took some time to celebrate at Littlefield, and raised $35,000 to fund the school’s special programs.
It was DJ Rai Ariz who took us back (30 years!) and helped us get down to an amazing mix of music from the 1980s. Then PS 372 parents Peter Kerlin, Claudia Gonson and Kahimi Karie energized everyone with a live performance.
We also enjoyed amazing food from PS 372 parent-owned restaurants Insa and The Good Fork, followed by delicious desserts from Li-Lac Chocolates. And throughout, we savored signature cocktails from the mixologists at Littlefield.
A fun and important fund-raising event like this could not be possible without the dedication and generosity of so many in our school and the broader community. First, we want to thank the Gala Auction committee members: Ledra Solomon, Rai Ariz, Kathleen Conner, Sarah Graham, Laura Mantell, Callie Siegel, and Orna Guralnik, as well as PTA co-presidents Jessica Miksis and Merideth Finn-Beers. We also appreciate all the assistance that many parent volunteers provided on the night of the event.
