Office of SchoolFood Brought Fall Feasts to Both PS 372 Sites Thursday
We were fortunate to have not one but TWO chefs visit PS 372 cafeterias on Thursday October 8th. Chef Hollly went to the ASD site in Ft. Greene while Chef Herman served samples to the ICT students in Gowanus. All the students enjoyed the same dishes: roasted broccoli with cauliflower; roasted spaghetti squash and butternut squash with roasted tomatoes, and big gorgeous hunks of carrots in hues of purple, yellow and orange. Garden to Cafe is an Office of SchoolFood Program available to PS 372 via our Grow To Learn garden grant.
The Inclusions Garden had a great 2nd season! And we’re still wrapping up while looking forward. The committee meets most Friday mornings in the garden on 1st and Denton Sts after dropoff. We’ll need all hands on deck to do a winterization workday on Saturday November 7th. To join us, come to a meeting or to school on Saturday November 7th between 11am and 1pm. Questions?
