A Look Inside Our Fall Enrichment Classes

The first round of after school Enrichment classes are under way. We stopped by a few of the class offerings to see the classes in action.

The Cooking With Butter Beans class was busy making veggie face sandwiches. Alice, a kindergartner reported, “I didn’t know I liked cream cheese, but I tried it and I do!”

In Hula Hoops, two third graders explained why they returned to take the class numerous times. Viva said, “You’re not just sitting around; we’re learning something.” Nina said, “I like the teacher. I didn’t even know that (hula hoop) was a sport. It’s like dancing with a prop.”

In Bit Bots, two Kindergartners were busy creating.  Eloise was making a gingerbread robot while Ida worked on her rainbow bat. When asked what he liked about Bit Bots, Dylan, a second grader said, “Everything, literally! I get to build whatever I want. I get to let out my creative side.”
