Caterpillars Come Back to School

Have you seen these guys?

FullSizeRender[1]Spotted Sunday afternoon: brand new caterpillar larva sunbathing on parsley leaves. There were five or more: hopefully at least one will survive until school resumes Wednesday. Look for them in the corner of the school garden at 1st and Denton Streets. The parsley is in the orange container, but they might migrate to the dill in the corner planter if they’re very hungry.

 

FullSizeRender[2]Quick update RE caterpillar cam: While we hoped to move the camera outdoors this fall, we are still awaiting DOE electric work to be completed. No live camera feed until further notice, but you can get your fix in person over the next week or so.  –Denise Maher
