Big Raised Bed At ASD Site Is Ready for Seedlings

Ready, Set, GROW!
Last week the ASD students weeded the big bed at the shared garden space at MS 113.This weekend, after Julie and Denise tilled the soil and added 4-5 bags of organic new soil, Benji tamped down the dirt.
This bed is ready to take transplants. There are mountain mint, thyme, sage and other divisions from the ICT (Gowanus) available to move, and Cara is bringing us some seedlings, such as chives, bronze fennel, anise hyssop and borage, from the Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm.
