On Friday, students came to school dressed up as their favorite character from a book, and our teachers did, too! It was a celebration of our love of books and the characters in those books, and the kids all had a great time. Here’s our principal, Ms. Rosa (stuffed with straw) and her yellow-brick-road crew as they dropped in on all the classrooms.
Character Day was brought to the school community by the Social Emotional and Community Building Committee of the School Leadership Team. SECB works to build community through school-based activities that are fun, create empathy and raise awareness of who we all are as people on this planet.
