Plants Sprout in the Classroom

Students See Their Seedlings Grow

Talk about watching grass grow! Ms. Janet’s preK-2 students have got their sprouts started. Take a look at the seedlings they’ve started indoors, including carrots, sunflowers and grass. These will be transplanted to the 372 Garden outside within a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, Ms. Kathy’s early science education students have been prepping the garden for planting outdoors. Learn about how to get involved with the garden, as well as the role the garden will play in your child’s studies here.  Don’t miss the plant sale planned for before and after school on Thursday May 8th. You’ll be able to buy and take home small flowering plants at the same time you support the school’s educational gardening program. Proceeds will go the 372 Garden.
