Are they ready to pupate?
In a little over one week, these larva have progressed to caterpillars that are almost ready to pupate.Some are starting to hang out in the top of the cup, which means, according to Earth’s Birthday,they will start to shed their caterpillar exoskeleton and begin forming a chrysalis.
Then, after about a week, a butterfly will emerge!
