Parent & Community Partners’ Recognition Ceremony

  At last night’s District 15 CEC Meeting parents and community partners from all the District 15 schools were honored. This year, PTA President Alison Bowers and Class Parent Liaison Marianne and Peter Itak were honored.

Alison has agreed to be our PTA President again! She does a lot of heavy lifting behind the scenes that make so many of our events appear seamless. Marianne has organized class parents all year which builds our community by supporting our teachers and school. Her husband Peter Itak has been our fearless Pizza Friday volunteer organizer. Pizza Friday is a huge fundraiser as well as community builder that ran from September through early June. So many of the programs, supplies and resources we have enjoyed and come to expect at the Children’s School were made possible directly and indirectly by these individuals.
