The New York City Fire Department is spearheading a collection drive to aid the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. As part of our continuing effort to foster empathy in our children and to serve our school community, many of whom have loved ones directly impacted by the storm, The Children’s School will assist the FDNY its efforts. Please help us in doing so by donating the following items:

• Diapers
• Batteries
• Baby Food
• First Aid Supplies
• Feminine Hygiene Products

Each of these items have been specifically requested by the FDNY and can be dropped off in specially marked boxes on every floor of the Main Building and in the Pre-K/Kindergarten Wing from Friday, September 29th to Thursday, October 5th. Please note that the FDNY will not accept second hand or perishable items, or liquids of any kind.
