Important After School Information

 

  • All invoices are due the 10th of each month. If you are 2 months overdue and have not contacted the registrar, your child will be suspended from AS. Payment plans and reduced rates are available. AS works to avoid suspensions and encourages communication to allow the program work for all.
  • If your child needs an epipen or asthma pump, you must provide one for After School. It will be kept in her/his backpack.
  • PreK/K Students: AS recommends you have an extra pair of clothing in your child’s backpack.
  • Dry snacks are provided to the children, PreK/K is also given juice or water. Please send additional snack such as fruit, veggies or a sandwich if you choose. NO PEANUTS/NUTS allowed.
  • Drop In Service is available for the Full Time AS program ONLY. If you need to request same day Drop In service, please email asregistrar@gmail.com subject line DROP IN. If you do not receive a response, please call the school.  ALL requests after 2:00 pm must be called into the school.
  • HW Help/Early Pick up is 4:10 Sharp. If you are late, your child will be put in the Full Time AS program and you will be charged for a full day.
  • AS Hours are 3:10-6pm. If you are later than 6pm, please go to the main entrance of the school on Carroll Street. Doors must be locked at 6pm. Families will be charged a late fee.
  • Parents are not permitted to go to the AS classrooms. Upon arrival, staff will call your child and your child will be brought to you.
  • Pick up is in the gym or, weather permitting, on Whitwell Place in the big yard. There will be a note on the gym door if pick-up is in the big yard.
  • The AS phone is 917-715-5649. Hours for the AS phone are 3:10-6pm. Please call  if there are any change in your dismissal plan, or if you are running late. (AS staff does not have access to school phones).
