The next PTA meeting will be on Friday, October 22 at 8:30am in the cafeteria.  We are thrilled to have  guest speaker Michele Kalil from Dial-A-Teacher!
Mark you calendars for the Book Fair Party, Friday night November 5 from 6-9pm.  Books, ice cream, guest authors! Each child will also have the chance to visit the fair with their class during the school day either Monday, November 8 or Tuesday, November 9.  If you can volunteer for the party or during the day please email me: alisonheninbowers@hotmail.com
Some parents have begun a petition for a stop sign on the corner of Carroll and Bond, please come by the PTA Office/Family Center to sign it.
The Brooklyn Borough President has granted our school money for a new playground! A committee has been formed that includes parents, teachers, administrators and 4th graders. Plans are in the works and construction will begin in the Spring, we are SO excited!!
