Chez Caterpillar

Have you seen their new home? These caterpillars, born in captivity, right here at 512 Carroll Street next to the ducks and the chick in Mrs. Kathy’s science room, lived their first days in a jar. Now they’ve moved into a dreamy terrarium complete with branches, fresh herbs, natural light and open space. They’ll play and grow for another few days before they prepare to pupate. Then, after about 2 weeks in chrysalis they will emerge as butterflies just before the end of the school year.

Don’t miss the show! To see them via the caterpillar cam, send a request to garden@ps372pta.org or check your inbox for an invite from DropCam.
