The Office of English Language Learners invites parents and guardians of English Language Learners (ELL) in New York City public schools to attend our second Boroughwide Parent Institute,

Everything You Want to Know in One Evening: Information Session for Parents of ELLs.

This institute is scheduled for the last week of September and early October in all five boroughs. Dates, times, and locations are specified on the flyer. Each session will include valuable information on the resources and choices that the DOE provides to ensure academic success for ELLs. Parents can visit informational stations set up by various DOE offices and outside organizations where they can ask specific questions regarding their child’s education. Translation services, refreshments, and MetroCards will be provided.

Parents/guardians should return the registration form to parent coordinators no later than Thursday, September 20.
