Children’s School teachers, staff, students and parents participated in the Oct. 2 OneNation rally in Washington DC. (The UFT sent many many buses from New York to the rally.) They reported that they were “heartened by the size and diversity of the crowd–labor activists, civil rights and human rights activists, and people from all walks of life demanding jobs, quality and affordable public education, equality for all, and peace.”
