Dear Children’s School families,

The faculty of P.S. 372 is mobilizing against the mayor’s threatened layoffs–including the Children’s School teachers we stand to lose if the mayor gets his way.  We will be turning out for the March 17 rally described below, and we are appealing to you to join us. Tell your friends.  Bring your kids.

The rally is sponsored by New York Communities for Change, the Alliance for Quality Education, and the even a charter school parents association. It is one of a series of rallies all over the state this week, as we count down to the April 1 state budget deadline.  The more state aid we can preserve for NYC schools, the stronger our case against layoffs.
