Be a Part of the PS 372 Roots & Community Celebration!

Roots and CommunityOur Roots & Community Celebration is Saturday, October 21st, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. in our school gym.

Come out and celebrate at this fun, relaxing and FREE event. It’s a great place to show pride in our families and communities and learn more about each other. Roots & Community features tables offering food, art and activities that represent the cultures, countries or regions of origin of our school community. This year we will also be fundraising to help the people of Puerto Rico and other Caribbean Islands.

  • We need volunteers to help with general event planning!
  • We need volunteers to bring food for the potluck!
  • We need volunteers to help with a cultural table or activity!

Last year’s tables included African Roots, Britain, China, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, GLBTQ, Greece, Honduras, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jewish Heritage, Mexico and the Philippines, and Peru. We look forward to celebrating with you!
