Our school has procedures in place for emergency readiness, and school staff is trained in procedures outlined in our School Safety Plan. Each September, we do a series of drills to make sure everyone knows what to do in an emergency. For more information on these drills or our procedures, see the letter below (also included in school backpacks this week).
Families are also encouraged to register with Notify NYC to receive information about emergency events, and call 311 for additional information about a school during an emergency.
