Kudos to Nina, Lilly and their mom for arranging to give the plant sale extras to our neighbors at Mary Star of the Sea apartments.
The petunias, begonia and portulaca flowers will help beautify the grounds, while the eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini and peppers will grow in the center’s vegetable garden. Look for them when you’re walking by the lot at the corner of Bond and Carroll streets!
Are you watching the caterpillars on the dropcam? Tune in before they turn into butterflies — it should start to happen any minute! Send a request to garden@ps372pta.org to get an invite to the private site.
The next garden committee meeting will be held on Friday, May 8th, in the garden at 8:30am. All are welcome to help plant, plan and support the teachers’ nature-based lessons. We meet most Fridays in the garden (at the corner of Denton Place and First Street) at 830am. Join the online discussion (or just read along to stay current) at groups.google.com/group/372garden
