We are thrilled to announce the launch of the PCB Lights Out Campaign. PCB Lights Out encourages parents with children at schools with PCB lights to conduct “walk-throughs” at their school to identify leaking PCB lights in order to get their school fast tracked for a complete lighting replacement. The campaign’s outreach to parents is multifaceted:

• Our PCB Lights Out website (http://pcblightsout.org/) provides complete “walk though” instructions, plus detailed information about our campaign to rid NYC schools of toxic PCBs. Check it out and please “like us” on Facebook!

• Postcards electronically delivered by Chancellor’s Parent Advisory Council (CPAC) to all the Presidents of District and Borough High School Councils in New York City announcing the campaign and encouraging participation.

• PCB Lights Out Tool Kit – a complete “how to” guide.
