Sunday, July 26th, around 10am, near the corner of Carroll St. and Denton Pl. It was checking out the flowers near the church.
I’m pretty sure it is a Tiger Swallowtail, a species that lays eggs on birch and other hosts. Not sure we have any host plants in our garden…We may want to add some next year.
