You may have heard of Mini Max Toys and Cuts on Atlantic Avenue. For almost three years now they’ve cut our children’s hair, read them books, sang them songs and painted their faces. With everything they do, this local business strives to stand out and is now helping public schools in Brooklyn.
Last November, Mini Max Toys and Cuts launched the Mini Max Toys and Cuts Give Back to Schools Program in which part of their proceeds went right back to the schools. With budget cuts continually increasing and sources stretched thin, we believe that it is time to bring this program back into action just in time for the Back-to-School rush.
Here’s how it works:
EVERY DAY from August 15th through September 30th, 15% of every purchase from a PS 372 family, friend or teacher will go directly back to the school. This includes any purchase from toys, clothes and even haircuts. No flyer is required; just mention your school!
In addition, this program can be used for online back-to-school shopping on their website by selecting a school at checkout.
In order for the Mini Max Toys and Cuts Give Back to Schools Program to be successful, we need your help in getting the word out. We learned from last year that we can raise more money by spreading the program by word of mouth, e-Blasts and through social media. Together we can reach goals in furthering children’s education and supporting those in our community.
